The washing that never ended. The drying that took over the balcony. The ironing pile that stared at us every weekend. And of course, the famous Sri Lankan “laundry chair” — the place where folded clothes go to wait, and wait, and wait.

None of this was stressful. It was just… constant. And even in a normal week, it quietly took time away from everything else.

We kept wondering why there wasn’t a simple, reliable way to take the whole chore off our hands. Not just the washing. All of it — the drying, the folding, the ironing, the routine.

But nothing like that existed. Everything was pay-per-kilo, per-piece, or per-trip. No rhythm. No convenience. No clarity.

So we built what we wished we had.

Sorted.lk started as a small idea in our own home. Today, it’s growing into a modern household utility for the way Sri Lankans actually live — predictable, simple, weekly convenience.
